2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Processing is based on the GDPR, in particular Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract or pre-contractual steps) and (f) (legitimate interest). Legitimate interests include the secure and efficient operation of the website and handling waitlist requests.
3. Hosting via Cloudflare Pages
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (and affiliated companies, including in the EU). Cloudflare stores and delivers website content via a global content delivery network (CDN) and operates serverless functions (including Cloudflare Workers) that may process requests to our site. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, performant and available website). Data may be transferred to the USA or other third countries. Cloudflare relies on appropriate safeguards, in particular EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or — where applicable — the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 4. Server log files and security data
When you access the website, technically necessary connection data may be processed, e.g. IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, referrer URL, browser and operating system information, and status codes. These data are used to deliver the website, for system security (e.g. detecting attacks) and technical troubleshooting. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention follows Cloudflare’s technical requirements and our security interests; we do not evaluate these data for marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and browser storage
We use technically necessary cookies or similar storage. In particular, we store the selected language in the “PARAGLIDE_LOCALE” cookie so the site can be shown in your preferred language (legal basis Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / § 25 (2) TDDDG). Cloudflare may also set technically required cookies for security and network operations. We currently do not set analytics or marketing cookies ourselves. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; some features (e.g. language preference) may then be limited.
6. Waitlist / contact form
If you join the waitlist via the form, we process the data you provide: email address, description of your idea (prompt), optional role/style, and technical metadata (e.g. timestamp, locale, user agent). The purpose is handling your request, organizing the waitlist and later informing you about product access. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps at your request) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient communication). Data are stored as long as needed for these purposes and then deleted or restricted unless statutory retention applies. Submission runs through our Cloudflare-hosted API; if a webhook is configured, data are sent to the recipient stored there.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have in particular the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21).
